Newark roofing contractors for homes and businesses
W Hartley Jnr Ltd is a Newark roofing company based in Balderton, run by Will Hartley. Will has been roofing for over 20 years, and every job gets the same approach: find the real cause of the problem, explain your options in plain English, and do a proper job at a fair price.
We work on houses, bungalows, extensions and commercial buildings across Newark-on-Trent and the surrounding villages. Most enquiries start with a leak or a few slipped tiles, and in many cases a well-made roof repair is all you need rather than a whole new roof. When replacing it really is the better option, we will show you why.
We are a VAT-registered limited company with full public liability insurance, and our work carries guarantees of up to 10 years. More about Will and the business.

Questions about our roofing services in Newark
Do you give free roofing quotes in Newark?
Yes. Every quote is free and comes with no obligation. We look over the roof, explain what we have found and give you a clear price with your options set out, so you can decide in your own time without any pressure.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Balderton and work across Newark-on-Trent and the surrounding villages, as well as wider Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire, including Peterborough. If you are not sure whether you are in our area, give us a call and ask.
Can my roof be repaired instead of replaced?
Often, yes. Many leaks come from a handful of slipped tiles, worn flashing or tired valleys, and fixing those properly can add years to a roof. We only recommend a new roof when repairs no longer make sense, and we will explain why.
When are you open?
We are open from 7am to 6pm, seven days a week. If you have a leak or storm damage, phone rather than email so we can arrange to get to you as soon as possible.
